Quickcast:  In the Northern region of Kansas are a handful of larger lakes and reserviors.  For example, the 5000 acre Kirwin Reservoir will produce bluegill, wipers, bullhead, white bass, channel cats, walleye, crappie, largemouth, and flathead catfish.  Other lakes in the North like Waconda Lake or the 16,000 acre Milford Reservoir will consistently produce catfish, walleye, white bass, wipers, panfish and stripers.  In the Southern part of the state you’ll find a lot of the same fish found in the North with the added fare of spotted bass, saugeye, sauger and blue catfish.
