Quickcast: There will be plenty to do and plenty to fish for in Missouri. To begin with, in Northern parts of the state such as Deer Ridge Lake and LaBelle Lake fishermen will expect to find black crappie, channel cats, largemouth, bluegill, muskie, walleye, redear and some flathead cats. In the Central region anglers will be targeting blue cats, white bass, crappie species, channel cats, bluegill, largemouth and paddlefish. The Ozark region will also yield a good deal of bluegills, redears, channel cats, blue cats, sunfish and largemouth. The Southeast region will attract fishermen hoping to bring in some bluegill, black crappie, channel cats, largemouth, redears, white bass whereas the Southwest will be good for walleye, crappie, white bass, brown and rainbow trout as well as smallmouth bass and muskie.
